Co-Founder & VP of Engineering

Bogdan Alexandrescu is a technology expert, an entrepreneur with two exists in his past, and an industry leader with a strong background in start-ups within the technology, fintech, and business consulting sectors. As a Partner at Blocktech Ventures and a passionate angel investor and advisor, he remains at the forefront of innovative developments in the industry.

As a co-founder and VP of Engineering at Saga, Bogdan is responsible for creating and scaling Saga's Engineering organization tasked with building Saga's state-of-the-art technology, products, and services.

Before his role at Saga, he worked with Apple & Twitter where he excelled as an engineering leader, managing engineering organizations focused on developing cutting-edge solutions in areas of Ads, Data Engineering, large-scale ML/AI, and infrastructure projects. Bogdan's expertise extends across various domains, including engineering management, software development, and project leadership. His educational background includes a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, where he achieved outstanding academic performance and Management, Business Administration, and Leadership from HBS.

Actively involved in leadership affiliations, Bogdan is a valued member of organizations such as the Bitcoin Foundation, Ethereum Foundation, BIC, and more. His commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond his professional endeavors, as evidenced by his previous role as the President of Rotary, reflecting his dedication to community development and service.

Digital Marketing

Micah is an experienced leader with over a decade of work in digital marketing, web3, social strategy, and emerging technology. He has worked extensively in web3 gaming and was most recently the head of digital for the esports giant 100 Thieves. His experience in strategic marketing work spans brands in entertainment & gaming such as Nike, Call of Duty, Converse, Red Bull, Chipotle, & Jordan.When not exploring blockchain innovation Micah can be found playing Parallel, VALORANT, Rocket League, Nifty Island, and Elden Ring.

Marketing Communications & PR

Kyle is a dynamic marketer with a solid eight-year track record in the cryptocurrency sector. His career is marked by successful roles in user growth, lead generation, and tech adoption, with significant achievements for clients such as Ripple Labs, Solana, VeChain, Parallel, and Chainlink Labs. Skilled in a range of areas, Kyle has led marketing initiatives at Wachsman and directed efforts at Feta NFT Options Protocol, driving revenue and successful fundraising. Additionally Kyle has helped build and launch many smaller projects on his own time. Outside the (home) office, he commits to fitness, bodybuilding, and enjoys playing the 20-year-old computer game RuneScape, balancing professional success with personal passions.

Business Operations & Strategy

Alana is a business operations and project management leader with over a decade of experience in the entertainment, media, and technology industries. Her passion for entertainment and storytelling led her to join the growth marketing team at HBO Max, where she led marketing operations and supported the execution of the platform launch strategy. Before joining Saga, Alana owned project management for the global marketing organization at BrightDrop, a subsidiary of General Motors that provided efficient and sustainable last-mile delivery solutions for B2B customers. This is her first venture into web3 and she is excited to dive into the multiverse. In her free time, Alana enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and paddleboarding and can be found bingeing her latest TV obsession.

Blockchain Core Engineer

Brian is the founding engineer at Saga. Combining his deep passion for web3 with his experience in the blockchain, finance, and SaaS sectors, he built out early iterations of Saga's product and continues to lead their development efforts with a product and user-first mindset. Before his tenure at Saga, Brian distinguished himself as a software engineer at Tendermint, contributing to and advocating for projects including the Ignite CLI, Cosmos SDK, and Tendermint. Brian received his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology at the age of 20. He is part of the crypto class of 2017.

Senior Blockchain Infra Engineer

Roman Kollár is a Senior Blockchain Infra Engineer at Saga working on the protocol and validator services. He is based in Czech Republic. He studied Computer Science at Masaryk University in Czech Republic, while working as an intern at Red Hat, helping with the development and testing of core Linux utilities.

Senior Blockchain Infra Engineer

Ashish has over 20 years of experience working in software design and development and is a problem solver at heart. After working in various industries such as telecom, banking and retail, Ashish discovered his love for blockchain and related technologies and has not looked back. Ashish loves music and writing, and very frequently travels to Colorado to recharge his batteries.

Senior Engineer

A Golang developer with background in distributed systems, blockchain and security field. Started to work in blockchain area in late 2016. Before joining Saga, worked on Hyperledger Iroha blockchain and FastBFT consensus algorithm.

Senior Program Manager

Tho has over ten years of experience in Program Management & Strategic Operations, with a passion and proven track record for driving initiatives forward. Previously, she built node programs for robust, decentralized networks at DFINITY and The Lifted Initiative. Tho also grew the developer ecosystem at Samsung for emerging technology, such as VR and IoT. In her free time, you can find Tho dancing at a concert or wakeboarding with friends.
